NY Boudoir Photographer. A few months ago I flew out to Las Vegas for the annual WPPI conference for photographers and had a chance to shoot some boudoir photos. Attending the WPPI conference is always overwhelming and there is so much to take in that I had to find some time to shoot as well and since boudoir and glamour photography are my favorites to photograph I was thrilled to get to do some shoots while at some of those luxurious hotels out there. This boudoir photo shoot took place at the Palms Place Hotel. The lighting in there was gorgeous. I loved the texture of the walls, the decor and the pink sofa. They certainly made for some interesting backdrops.

Long Island Boudoir Photos

A few months ago I got contacted by Haley to do a glamour and boudoir photo shoot at my studio in Long Island. I was thrilled to learn that she had just started working as a plus model and that I would be able to share the photos from her shoot. Time and time again I always hear women wanting to do a boudoir photo session but always use the excuse, “but, I can’t because I need to lose 30 lbs”, or, “I am too fat…..maybe next year after I lose this fat and get back into shape”. And I totally get it and understand. But here is what happens, a year goes by and you still don’t have the perfect body that you had hoped to achieve because life just happens and the years go by and then before you know it you have another excuse that you are too old and you just never get this experience. All because you are seeking the perfection that is just never going to be there. You know why? Because you will just never feel and believe that you are perfect as you are. Perfection is an illusion and we as women all feel that we do not look perfect. Most of us are all fighting the same battle. We either are just not blessed with skinny bodies, we feel that we are not skinny enough, we get married and have kids and we all get older. We spend are whole lives feeling like we are not perfect or wishing to look a certain way. It’s no different than wishing that we had curly hair or wish that we had straight hair. Sound familiar? Why not just embrace who we are and the fact that we are all beautiful in our own individual and unique way. Not everyone can be thin. Curves are beautiful. Embrace them ladies and love them. And if you are still making excuses because you don’t believe you are perfect than you really need to book yourself a boudoir shoot so that I can make you see just how beautiful you really are. New York Glamour Photography/Boudoir Photography/Session with Ms. J

Valentines Day is this week and I have been getting books and print orders together for some lucky men out there. It certainly has been busy the last couple of months. Lots of ladies booked Holiday and Valentines Day sessions as gifts for their sweeties. I love to begin my boudoir sessions with my clients wearing a dress. I like to start by getting a few glamour portraits for my ladies so that they can include these portraits in their books, frame them on their walls if they want to, or use them on their social media pages, etc. Not only that but everyone is a little nervous at the beginning of a session and I find that posing in a dress helps get rid of any jitters before getting into that sexy lingerie. Your boudoir session doesn’t just have to incorporate lingerie. Boudoir Photography is about feeling beautiful and sexy and you should wear whatever makes you feel that way.

Here are a few images from a recent session that I had with Ms. J, who was kind enough to allow me to share some of her and some of my favorites. I had a great time capturing her images and we even had some laughs. There were so many beautiful images to choose from. You have to agree that she just looks absolutely stunning in all of these.
