NY Boudoir Photographer. A few months ago I flew out to Las Vegas for the annual WPPI conference for photographers and had a chance to shoot some boudoir photos. Attending the WPPI conference is always overwhelming and there is so much to take in that I had to find some time to shoot as well and since boudoir and glamour photography are my favorites to photograph I was thrilled to get to do some shoots while at some of those luxurious hotels out there. This boudoir photo shoot took place at the Palms Place Hotel. The lighting in there was gorgeous. I loved the texture of the walls, the decor and the pink sofa. They certainly made for some interesting backdrops.

Long Island Boudoir Photos

A few months ago I got contacted by Haley to do a glamour and boudoir photo shoot at my studio in Long Island. I was thrilled to learn that she had just started working as a plus model and that I would be able to share the photos from her shoot. Time and time again I always hear women wanting to do a boudoir photo session but always use the excuse, “but, I can’t because I need to lose 30 lbs”, or, “I am too fat…..maybe next year after I lose this fat and get back into shape”. And I totally get it and understand. But here is what happens, a year goes by and you still don’t have the perfect body that you had hoped to achieve because life just happens and the years go by and then before you know it you have another excuse that you are too old and you just never get this experience. All because you are seeking the perfection that is just never going to be there. You know why? Because you will just never feel and believe that you are perfect as you are. Perfection is an illusion and we as women all feel that we do not look perfect. Most of us are all fighting the same battle. We either are just not blessed with skinny bodies, we feel that we are not skinny enough, we get married and have kids and we all get older. We spend are whole lives feeling like we are not perfect or wishing to look a certain way. It’s no different than wishing that we had curly hair or wish that we had straight hair. Sound familiar? Why not just embrace who we are and the fact that we are all beautiful in our own individual and unique way. Not everyone can be thin. Curves are beautiful. Embrace them ladies and love them. And if you are still making excuses because you don’t believe you are perfect than you really need to book yourself a boudoir shoot so that I can make you see just how beautiful you really are. Happy New Year! I have been so terrible about blogging and keeping up to date with the blog . I vowed that in 2014 I would get my butt into gear and post at least once a week. Although it is a late start, better late than never. So to kick off my first blog post of 2014, here are some photos of a recent shoot that I had with Amanda in NYC. Amanda is a gorgeous model and actress that lives in NYC. I had a great time shooting her last week and I hope to work together with her again in the future. Here are some of my many favorites from the session. I tried to narrow them down to five but it was really hard to choose. There are just so many great pics that reflect that many “shades” of Amanda. From glamourous to mysterious to vixen to sweet and fun.

Wedding season is here and that means it’s time for some bridal boudoir photos. I’d like you to meet the lovely Miss C who I had the pleasure to photograph recently in Long Island, NY. Ms. C is getting married at the end of this month and she called me to get some sexy pictures of herself for her soon to be hubby and for herself. When she arrived on the day of her shoot she was beaming with excitement. But once i asked her to see the outfits that she brought so i can map out her shoot, she realized that she forgot her outfits and naturally became very upset. I offered to reschedule the session since it was already evening time but she was quite adamant about proceeding with the shoot since she already had her hair and make-up done. It is quite common for almost everyone to be a bit tense at the very beginning of the session. It usually takes an average of about 15 minutes before the client loosens up and the great images start to get produced. Well it was no different with Ms. C. especially since she was naturally very upset about not having all her outfits. Despite her disappointment, we realized that she had a few items to work with that she brought with her that were in her bag of shoes and I quickly started to have her change into them and we made it WORK! In no time, she was rocking the shoot and was having a blast. Sure she didn’t have the matching outfits and lingerie she had packed but I didn’t let that stop me from capturing her beauty and her personality. And we got some great images. It just goes to show you that everything does not have to be perfect in order to get great pictures. Check out some of Ms. C’s favorite images that she has given me permission to share. Isn’t she beautiful?
