Central Park Wedding Photographer
I don’t think anyone anticipated it to be 95 degrees in May for this Central Park Wedding, not even the bride and groom. Thankfully my bride and groom were troopers in the heat. With a beautiful location like Central Park for your wedding, you certainly can’t go wrong. After all, it is one of the most beautiful parks in NYC and it truly is a photographer’s paradise!
We started day with the bride getting ready in Queens. Evelyn & Brian had their first look just outside the hotel just before traveling into the city for their beautiful Central Park wedding ceremony by the Lakeview. The Lakeview offers a beautiful view of the lake, the boats, and the NYC buildings in the background and is conveniently tucked away from the main paths, allowing for a private small intimate ceremony. But this was not the only reason why they chose to have their ceremony there. If you recall this couple’s Central Park proposal from last year, Brian proposed to Evelyn at this very same spot by the Lakeview. Having this wedding ceremony at this very same location was bittersweet and had strong sentimental value for both of them. After the ceremony, we took advantage of Central Park’s picturesque scenery and we did their family formals and some lovely portraits of the two of them. The time flew by and we had to head back into Queens for their reception at Rainhas Churrascaria. My only regret was that I wish we had more time to take advantage of Central Park’s beautiful scenery but from experience I can tell you that there is just never enough time to take pictures on a wedding day. That is why it is so important to always plan enough time to take your wedding pictures. After all, your wedding pictures are all that you have left long after the day is over.
I love photographing small NYC intimate weddings. If you would like more information on booking photography services for your NYC intimate wedding or engagement, get in touch with me here.
