Long Island Beach Photos\/Dancer Photo Shoot<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I absolutely loved taking these beach photos<\/em> of Gabby in Long Beach<\/a>, Long Island this summer. \u00a0We planned for this\u00a0photo shoot\u00a0<\/a>to take place\u00a0later in the day as close to sunset as possible in hopes that we may\u00a0capture some of the sunset in the photos. \u00a0You are never guaranteed to get a sunset on any given day, but it certainly helps to plan the shoot about 1 hour before so that you have a better chance of getting one. \u00a0Obviously you won’t be able to capture the sunset in your pictures if you plan your shoot mid-day. \u00a0 Well needless to say the weather was crazy that day. \u00a0It rained in the morning and there were lots of dark clouds in the earlier part of the day. \u00a0No rain was in the forecast so I knew that the shoot would not need to get postponed. \u00a0I was however pretty bummed that we probably would not get a sunset. \u00a0But clouds don’t stop me from shooting or make me reschedule a session. \u00a0Clouds can provide beautiful soft diffused light, which makes for some great photos, especially taken on the beach.<\/p>\n

I met with Gabby a bit earlier and \u00a0then the sun came out so\u00a0I decided to wait awhile since the sun was too harsh and would not provide the best lighting. \u00a0Not only that but the beach was a bit crowded. \u00a0Talk about crazy weather!<\/p>\n

We waited awhile and soon enough more and more people started to leave and the sun began to fall so we began to shoot. \u00a0We started on the boardwalk in\u00a0Long Beach.<\/p>\n

We then proceeded to take some photos along the shore. \u00a0The sky was starting\u00a0to turn colors and I knew that we were going to be in for some really amazing shots. \u00a0But first before we did that I had to get this………..<\/p>\n

These were all shot using natural light. \u00a0But the sun was quickly starting to set so\u00a0 I set up my flash so that I could capture these rich deep colors……..<\/p>\n

Two different looks and both equally amazing. \u00a0:o)<\/p>\n
