Island Engagement Photos\/Diana &#038; Victor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Long Island Engagement Photos\/Diana &amp; Victor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I had the opportunity to take some<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenebellaphotography.com\/portfolio-long-island-photography\/nyccouplesphotography\/\"> engagement photos<\/a> of Diana &amp; Victor at this beautiful location in Long Island near Manhasset and Roslyn. \u00a0There were so many pretty spots and my couple made perfect models. \u00a0I captured\u00a0some traditional poses and then some of what I like to call candid poses. \u00a0Let&#8217;s discuss candid photos and candid posing in this blog. \u00a0What is candid posing? \u00a0Well, it is exactly what is sounds like. \u00a0Posing that is candid. \u00a0LOL. \u00a0Now that\u00a0was a really great definition. \u00a0But seriously almost everyone likes getting candid photos captured of themselves because\u00a0they want to look more natural in the photo rather than stiff and posed, but the thing with candid photos is that\u00a0sometimes people can look awkward in their candid moments and when they try to pose themselves. \u00a0In particular, the pose or stance that they are in at that candid moment may not be very flattering or it\u00a0can make them look 10 pounds heavier. \u00a0Or better yet if they\u00a0are caught laughing and pull back, they\u00a0will have a double chin or their mouth wide open (yes that happens all the time&#8230;..LOL). \u00a0 I can assure you that nobody wants a double chin or to look heavier. \u00a0Better yet they don&#8217;t want to be caught at an awkward moment. \u00a0My job as a photographer is to make my subjects look their very best. \u00a0Even though some of the candids that I take are genuinely\u00a0candid, in particular those that I usually keep significant\u00a0distance away\u00a0from my subjects, I still tend to pose my couples in a candid yet flattering way and then have one of them say something to the other person hoping to make them laugh naturally. \u00a0Basically I set them up in a pose and then tell them what to do, after all my couples are not professional models and they don&#8217;t always know what\u00a0to do and how they look like in my camera. \u00a0That is my job as the professional photographer and \u00a0why you need a professional to take your photos to assure that you look good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Now back to a few photos from Diana &amp; Victor&#8217;s engagement session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a
